Weeple Tutorial

Several months ago, I was trying to find a site that sold personalized Weeples. You know what Weeples are, right? Those little fuzzy, round critters with googly eyes and large feet.



We weren't able to purchase the Weeples in time for our event, but I did come across some information on making your own Weeples.

So after purchasing:
Craft foam (I was able to pick up a large sheet at the local thrift store for a nickel. Score!)
Medium-to-large Pom-Poms
Googly (wiggly) Eyes
Pearl Sprigs (Try the Bridal Section of the craft store. Our local Walmart doesn't carry them.)
Craft glue (Of course!)

I drew up a pattern for the feet:



Cut several out of the craft foam:


Glue all the pieces in place, let dry and you have your own little Weeple family!


If you want, you can can add pre-printed ribbon just above the feet. You can also create your own ribbon messages using plain ribbon and color-coordinating Sharpie Markers. The possibilities are endless!

Throw some double-stick tape on the bottom of his feet (optional) and he's ready to go!
